Please see the PD Resource Guide for Parkinson’s resources and support, with a variety of information on living well with your Parkinson’s. This pandemic is a trying time, so it is a good time to build coping skills and take advantage of the many excellent resources that are available. The guide provides the following information:
- Resources related to COVID-19, including information on many activities you can participate in virtually from home
- Information about the many amazing organizations that support people living with Parkinson’s and their families. Most of these organizations have adapted how they provide support during this time, and are doing their best to continue to provide support.
- Resources for more general support with physical and mental health
- Information about opportunities for participating in Parkinson’s research
Some of this support is specific to Calgary, but a lot of it is accessible from anywhere.
If you have any question contact Tracy Hammer, Clinical Research Nurse at the University of Calgary at firstname.lastname@example.org – she would love to hear from you!
