We are thrilled to share that C-OPN has received new funding to help propel the next chapter of Canada’s national Parkinson’s research platform forward.

This generous investment from The Hilary and Galen Weston Foundation will strengthen our ability to recruit and follow participants nationally, grow our repository of data and biospecimens, and open up new avenues for researchers working to better understand and treat Parkinson’s disease.

Infrastructure like this doesn’t just support one study, it supports the entire research ecosystem. When we invest in shared resources, we make it possible for high-quality data, biological samples, and the generous contributions of participants to keep fueling collaborative discovery, both here in Canada and with research partners around the world.
