The Canadian Open Parkinson Network (C-OPN) collaborates with the Neuro’s C-BIG Repository (click here to learn more) to offer researchers access to high-quality biosamples at a competitive cost.
Blood is collected by certified technicians at C-OPN sites across the country. Serum and plasma are processed according to standardized operating procedures, and all samples are shipped to the C-BIG Repository in Montreal, QC. There, experienced lab technicians extract DNA, isolate PBMCs, and store all biospecimens under strictly controlled conditions.
This infrastructure enables you to enhance your research using pre-collected samples from selected C-OPN participants. Whether you are looking for DNA for genetic analyses, serum and plasma for biomarker discovery, or high-quality PBMCs, we can support your scientific goals.
